I’ve spent several posts explaining exactly why I think Skald is a fucking creepster, but you seem to be implying I don’t actually think that and am just choosing to troll him randomly? Even though several other female posters (including a female mod) have come forward and said the same things? Jesus fucking Christ, between you, Chimera, and BigT, I’m starting to understand why Dopers have the reputation of being full of celibate/forever alone types. ---

I participate in a lot of **StR’s** hypotheticals, even though I know I am going to get a lot of quite personal pushback in them from him because of certain beliefs I hold that seem to rub him the wrong way. It’s not that I find them particularly well-designed (he tends to favour railroad plotting), or his Evil Overlord shtick even vaguely amusing (it _so_ isn’t and hasn’t been for years - if ever). I think originally I liked having my beliefs challenged by taking them to extremes, nowadays it’s some combo of habit and boredom, probably with some virtue signalling in the mix.
