Apparently Higgs doesn’t understand that \*\*FCD \*\*isn’t going to work today so we could sleep in. So I’m up, breakfasting, already bracing for a hot, humid, icky day. And tomorrow when the electrician comes, there will be no a/c for several hours. We’re going to leave him to work while we run some errands, preferably some place with cool air. The critters will not be happy at all! \*\*sunny \*\*- I’m pretty sure I figured out who you are and I sent you a friend request. Happy Firday! Once again I am up way too early, been up since 4:30. I thought I heard water dripping but once I woke all the way up I realized I was dreaming that I heard water dripping. It’s nice and cool out now, I sat outside a bit with the dog. The WPTB keep changing the forecast as to when it’s supposed to rain. The postage stamp needs mowing. Anybody who wants to friend me on FB send me a pm. I have much to do and I can’t decide what to do first. ---

If the boys are still running, they’ll be running into Canada, where it’s big and expansive; not down to Long Island with limited access routes. Besides, as of about midnight EDST, the authorities are hot on the trail. ---

Wish her stomach (and Higgs’ bladder) had a snooze button. 🙂 Today is going to be ugly for me. The only pricer we have is our supervisor, who may not be available very much of the day due to meetings, especially with a regional honcho coming to check out how our store is doing. I’m going to be the closest we have to a lead, since everyone upstream of me has today off. I have a lot of newbies on today’s team. Predicted high today is 102. I work in a warehouse. Must remember to make sure everyone stays well-hydrated (me included). At least I got lots of kitty snuggles and purrs between snooze-button hits (she’s usually not patient enough to stay there for 15 minutes, but she did this morning). ---

Back from early-morning erranding. \*\*FCD \*\*needed some metal paint cans with lids. We got a BK breakfast, then went to Lowe’s, but they were out of them. So we drove down to **BBBobbio** ’s neighborhood to the Sherwin Williams store and he got the paint cans cheaper than they would have been at Lowe’s, so it worked out well. On the drive home, we were talking about engineering and why nobody understands engineers and what we do. Such an unappreciated group are we. 😃 I miss the creativity of the design process, but I don’t miss the BS inevitable in any job. And I never had to deal with the political crap of being a manager like my sweetie did. Anyway, home now, and soon I’m going to try out my new mop on the kitchen floor. Yeah, baby!! WOOHOO!!! ---

Or a Libertarian Buddhist, perhaps? ;)😛 I guess I may have to break down and join Facebook. While I am quite happy with the computer age in general, I am somewhat of a Luddite when it comes to joining things (If Mycroft Holmes ‘Diogenes Club’ actually existed, I would be a charter member) and do not subscibe to Facebook or Twitter or any of the others.
