I am not sure how I did it. I’m going to go get a Facebook for Dummies book. Yeesh.:smack: Yesterday I went in for my 1 week followup. Splint off. Check. x-ray. Check. I have an infection. Boo. So I’m on anti-biotics. I knew it had started hurting more, but I didn’t really know why. Not an expert exactly. Anyway, It was a red and puffy and hot. So now my tummy’s upset but hopefully the infection will go away. And today my manager is giving me my review over the phone at 4. Yay? We had pizza last night, which was yummy. I think I shall get ambitious tonight and make a tri-tip. I will marinate it now and have a minion/child help with BBQ later. 😃 Tomorrow we shall go see Juraissic World. Unless the reviews say it’s Juraissic Park 3 bad. The kids loved JP1, sat through JP2, and no one in the family has finished JP3. They are hyper-ventilating they are so excited about this new one. The advertising has done its magic. I get to sit in the prime seating with the handicapped sign on it! SILVER LINING I have found you! ---

Just finished painting the second coat on the plywood. In the morning, we’ll have to move my slab roller out of the way and give the electrician space to work. While he’s got the power off, we’re going to attempt to find \*\*FCD \*\*a suit for the wedding, and (most likely) impending funerals. His folks are in their middle 80s and not in the best of health. My mom is 81 and doing OK so far, but her mom had a stroke and was gone pretty fast, so who knows. Not a happy thought, but we’ve got to be ready. So suit shopping tomorrow, and maybe we’ll look at comforter sets, too, while we’re out. It should take the guy at least 6 hours to finish up. Oh, and we’ll be getting the motorcycle money on Tuesday. The dealership is closed on Monday and since the buyer put a lock on his accounts, his credit report wasn’t instantly available. Anyway, Tuesday. Finally. Fingers crossed. ---

Pizza has been ingested. OYKW is preparin’ himself a bath. All is well. **sunny** go to the dope facebook page and scroll down to the post where you can post your dope name. Or not. I guess it depends on whether you want to or not. However, it is encouraged. **MOOOOOOM** a couple years back we went out and bought black suits appropriate for funeralizin’ (Ok, I had one but really needed to get a new one as the old one was beginnin’ to be a little ratty) and other dark suited occasions like weddin’s. I made OYKW buy a couple of long sleeved white dress shirts and a black tie. For the first time, I almost understood what it was like to have a five year old throw a tantrum in the middle of a department store. 😃 Oh and my undergraduate studies mostly focused on beer drinkin’. I was older and more settled in my ways for graduate skool. Home decor and fashion are the result of gay genes. ---

Sometimes I wonder if I managed to survive university and eventually graduate, not in spite of the amount of booze that I drank, but because of it. Though as of today, I’ve been sober a year and a half. It’s still a struggle sometimes, though. ---

I finally broke down and turned on the AC. I would have liked to go a bit longer without paying for temperature control but it was getting too hot in here. I was outside with the dog earlier, he came back in but I sat out for a bit longer. I need to get a nice chair but the porch is just the right height from the deck to sit on. Anyway it went from sunny to dark and when it started raining it was raining on the houses across the alley but not on this side. Eventually the rain made it over to this side of the alley, I watched it come up my sidewalk. **Doggio** - remove two letters and rearrange the ones that are left and you’d be just a little bit closer. **Flytrap** I am just old enough to remember a time when people did their jobs and did them correctly. While I was out on the porch I broke up a bunch of boxes. I’ll take them to the armpit with me on Toosday since I have no idea how to get rid them up here. Tomorrow is the rabies clinic, so we will have to go stand in line for that. Mackie is about 6 months overdue, but the vets wouldn’t vaccinate him while he wasn’t well. The dog has never had a license in his life but since they give them out with the shots he will have one now. I have to remember to take water with us. And a small bowl. ---

Indeed he will drive five hundred miles or more from home to get bigger genes lest someone he knows sees him getting bigger genes. ---

I’d forgotten one person was semi-trained as a pricer, and supervisor was more available than I expected. Usual number of call-outs and lates (grrrr). We managed to make our production goal, and the only person who was having the crankies just got really quiet. Even more than he usually is, I should say. I do hope he’s feeling better tomorrow. Supervisor had some words with a peer of his regarding some issues between our department and other supe’s, and I nearly smacked a third supe (someone I tend to fear anyway) with a rack of clothes I was moving. To my surprise, she was very nice about the near-mishap (this is not normally the most pleasant of people). Dinner is as yet undetermined, since I lack appetite. Debating therapy nachos at nearby Mexican place vs. therapy pepperoni cheese bread from the miniature emperor. I could have done without having to do laundry right away on getting home, but clean underwear is necessary. ---
