God I hate this computer. I’m doing ok. I’ve been hanging out, trying to get the ex out of my system. Not doing too good of a job, I’m afraid. I move into my new place next weekend. (psst… **pbrtallboy** will probably be here then…) I’ll have DSL so I will probably turn into a posting demon, too. Work sucks. Ph.D. still has not apologized. But I think the statistician is going to get canned. Whee! I haven’t talked to the ex in a week now. I’m not worried about it, either. I wasted too long being worried about him when he obviously didn’t give a crap. So, I think we should have a Dopefest. I’m sure we can get more than one or two people to show up. Whaddaya say? ---

Thanks! I’ve actually already moved all of my stuff (except clothes) to the house. It’s my friend’s house, and he and his parents will be out of state/country for a while, so they want a caretaker. Bitchin’, huh? It’s got a huge deck on the back of the house, which overlooks the dock on the tidal creek. 3 bedrooms, brand new kitchen, new hardwood floors. I can’t wait to live there! Now all I have to do is buy a car so I can get back and forth to work. (Which will be weird, since I’ve walked to work for the past 2 years now.) ---

Holy cow. How lucky are you to have that house for a while? That’s fantastic! I don’t suppose you’d wanna do a Dopefest there; we can turn it up and get all _Risky Business_ in there? 😃 Nahhh-pobably not! Regardless, I can see some worries melting away when you’ve got a nightly view of the sunset over the tidal creek! Hang in there!
