A news-blurb on the bottom of Cheddar News claimed that an assassination attempt was made on Vladimir Putin, & thwarted by Security Services. Any confirmation or details? ---

The [only other story](https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/putin-narrowly-escapes-assassination-attempt-as-russian-secret-service-thwarts-moscow-bridge-explosion/ar-AA1dhmfJ) on this I could find was on MSN dot com from something called radaronline dot com. The way the story was written made it sound as if it was composed mostly of unconfirmed allegations by the Russian FSO (Federal Protection Service) that they found a suspicious barge under a bridge that Putin might use in the normal course of his daily travels, that the barge was going to blow up the bridge, but there was no confirmation of what the barge was carrying, and they apparently just made it move away from the bridge. No allegations of any arrests or further investigations. ---

Sorry–it was on TV, on one of those scrollbars that run at the bottom of the screen. And I’ve reached the conclusion it was just Russian Agitprop.
