Sorry 'bout [R.I.P. Common Sense - Miscellaneous and Personal Stuff I Must Share - Straight Dope Message Board](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=408614) . I got it in an e-mail and it just struck me as so appropriate to today’s society that I couldn’t resist. I’ll engage brain before putting fingers in gear next time. ☹
