# Skyrim: Legendary Edition - Having problem adopting kids

My sister has Skyrim: Legendary Edition for XBox 360, and she’s been finding it impossible to adopt children.

Her character is married, and has two houses. She’s also not been getting access to building supplies; it’s like _Hearthfire_ isn’t even installed. Any ideas?

Nevermind; it turns out she’d never installed the content from Disc 2. So she’d been playing vanilla Skyrim since early December.

If all else fails, you can find a solution at the top of the Conjuration skill tree.

Just in case it comes up: you _might_ need to have bedrooms with furniture for them, if you don’t already.

I had 800+ hours in Skyrim. But then I adopted a child and haven’t played it, or any RPG game, since. The two might be incompatible.
