My apologies, **Nuts** , but you _are_ a self-confessed slacker with Moanday as a day off 🙂 I still have yesterday’s blurf. I was sniffing and sneezing a lot in the office, it’s possibly the tail end of the cold (which is now a month old, we should have a party for it) but the weird thing is that my nose really hurts. Even the bone hurts. I mentioned to 'im indoors that it felt like I’d been smacked in the face. His answer? “Oh, I’m sure I would have remembered that”. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 34 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 67 for the day and sunny (N.O.S.). Not too shabby especially since I get to travel around part of the southwest forty today. That won’t be too bad even bein’ as both places I have to go are on the same highway. I shall go to the farthest point first (45 miles), which means I will travel through the nearest on the way there, and hit the nearest place on my way back. It makes sense. Yes it does! Ok, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. At least it’s only a four day week. I had a weird-dreaming night and I decided to go back to bed for a bit when \*\*FCD \*\*left. Naturally, Higgs and Taz had to join me, and Higgs had to bring her ratty old lamb to chew on noisily. So I’m up after all. Stoopit dog. Today’s big adventure will be a trip to the convenience center - I’ve got tons of recycling and some trash, too. Second big adventure is laundering a load of whites. Yep, another thrilling day ahead. At least the weather is supposed to be decent today. Tomorrow might suck, but I’ll deal with that later… Happy Tuesday! ---

Up and dressed and getting ready to hunt some supper down in the freezer. FWIW to others, I’ve taken advantage of my new schedule to help the weight loss along by going to a more “farm schedule” - big meal at noonish and something small and light when I get home 8-9ish. At this point I’m still going down about 2-3 poiunds a week. I know a “wall” is coming along soon but for now I’m LOVING it!!! ---

Who knew taking the trash and recycling could wind up being such a good adventure?? After I finished at the convenience center, I went to the credit union and got everything straightened out. The woman who told me to look for some papers that I needed to sign changed her mind and just annotated my file, but didn’t bother to tell me. Anyway, no papers coming and all is good. Next, I decided to pop into McKay’s - I don’t normally shop there, but I saw boneless poke chops advertised at a good price on one of their window signs, so since I was in the neighborhood… (the credit union is about a block away.) On my way to the poke chops, I saw poke loins - for $1.88/lb!!! Food Lion had them at $4.99, so this is a major score! I picked out a nice $22 hunk o’meat - 11.72# of boneless poke! I’ll cut it into 2 or 3 roasts, and the rest will become chops. My only problem now is finding space in the freezer. I’ll figure it out. Plus they had butter at 2#/$5, so I got a couple of pounds. It was a good stop. Back home, trash cans back in the garage, whites in the washer, dog in the yard. It’s been a good morning! ---
