Throwed - can be very good or very bad / one must consider the context
Fresh
There’s also “money” from the movie Swingers. Did anyone actually say that, or did it originate there? And if it originated there, did it catch on?
Dudical.
Bomb.
Radical.
Tight.
I say “hot” sometimes.
Neato.
Peachy.
Keen.
Here’s some other Aussie words:
Bonza
Good as gold
Ridgy-didge
True blue
How about “Spiffy” and its superlative form “spifferific”… or am I the only one who uses those??
Fab, excellent, ace.
I thought “pants” meant bad. That’s how I’ve heard people use it. Fuck I hate people who use the word pants (except when they mean underwear).
The bee’s knees?
Try using “the mutt’s nutts” as a substitute… tends to throw people into gigglefits.
Main.
As in “That hot-rod chevette is MAIN”
(and that’s a good thing)
Along the lines of the bee’s knees, how about the cat’s pyjamas.
Anyone else know any 1920s slang for ‘good’?!
yup, I know people who use it regularly.
Someone already contributed the adjective “mad” that simply intensifies the meaning of the word it precedes. “Mmmm, this caramel is mad good!” Use it often
‘Spiffing,’‘grand;’ ‘right rotten,’ and, of course, ‘it’s absolutely tits, man.’
I always liked “def.”
But for grammatic enigma you can’t beat “duuuuuuude!”
