My definitions: Romance between two people of the same gender: slash. Romance between two people of the opposite genders: het. Fic that doesn’t focus on a romance: gen. Now, if there was only an easy way to describe a mixed-gender threesome, I’d be all set. ---

I still derive great amusement from the Gandalf/Balrog slashfic someone mentioned in one of these threads once. Maybe it’ll see live action in the sequel to Return of the King? 😃 ---

That’s very nice of you to offer. I was able to find that slash fanfic today in the message archive of the LitSlash Yahoo! Group (message #522 posted by Dave Doty). What I really wanted was the URL to the [Femgeeks.net](http://Femgeeks.net) litslash archive so I could bookmark that link at another Yahoo! Group that specializes in only slash humor fics that are highly recommended. The Goofus and Gallant one qualifies, IMHO. I wasn’t sure if the URL to the message #522 would work for viewers who aren’t members of that group. That’s why I was looking for that other URL. Hmmm. The [http://www.femgeeks.net/litslash/](http://www.femgeeks.net/litslash/) is still not working. I tried just now. ---

I also found today a new favorite author of mine: Scribe. She’s very well known in the Makebelieve Yahoo! Group according to that group’s owner. Here’s one she’s currently writing: It’s a Clark/Jimmy slash titled [“An Uncomfortable Work Environment”](http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1433978). I can’t wait for her to add the next chapter. She writes other fanfics, not just slash. ---
