I haven’t tried but I got an E-mail message from them saying that they are changing something and it has instructions on how to use the new comment system.

Reading comments broke for me today, but I use Ghostery and Adblock Plus. I figured that they added another third-party dependency for their comments.

The email they sent is only about changes to logging in. So barring issues with adblockers you should still be able to read comments, I think.
