That was…okay. Still not great. I did like Ichy and the Onstar lady - that was worth a chuckle. I found it really distracting that Abby and Jenny have absolutely no features in common; I guess you can’t expect actors to look like each other even though they are cast as sisters, but you’d think they could have found some ladies who looked a bit alike. You have to feel sorry for Ichabod, though - I don’t think I’d like to spend my days with bickering sisters, either. ---

They need at least one fish-out-of-water scene in each episode. I wouldn’t mind an episode that was just Ichy adjusting. If they’re going to be destroying Big Evil every week, it’s gonna get boring. And it shouldn’t be so easy. I didn’t even catch what they did this week that stopped those critters. The special effects are good though. That puddle of demons is something I haven’t seen before, and the thing with Cho’s neck was pretty cool. ---

Anybody familiar with the occult knows about the Lesser Key of Solomon so they probably should have come up with something a little more original than that. I mean you can Google it and get the full text if that’s what you’re into. I would have gone with something more obscure ala [The Ninth Gate](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0142688/). But I guess the idea was that this was \*real \*lesser key of solomon. Meh. I’m still waiting for somebody to take Icky to the mall. If they go the whole season with him in the same costume, that’s really going to be unacceptable IMHO. And howsabout giving these folks some guns? I mean the horseman raided that patrolman’s home arsenal and got outfitted pretty well while Abbie, Jenny and Icky are walking around with semi-auto hand guns. Nuh-uh, I don’t think so. Time to tool up. Of course I’m still loving the show and hoping this becomes the next Supernatural but all of the characters still feel like cutouts to me. ---

Yeah, it’s long past time for Ichy to go clothes shopping. They do need to address the clothing issue, though - 300 year old clothes aren’t going to smell very good even without wearing them non-stop. And showing Ichy rinsing out his shirt in the tub isn’t good enough. Although now that I mention it, they could show Ichy taking more baths and showers, though. 🙂 ---

Icky’s going to be itchy from all the lice if he doesn’t change soon. I like the main character, but the writing and the historical accuracy is just laughingly bad sometimes. Are we eventually going to find out that Itchy is, in fact, present at (or even responsible for) every headline-worthy pre-revolutionary war action taken in the American colonies? “Next week, on _Sleepy Hollow_: Itchy convinces Thomas Paine to write a pamphlet. Hessian ensues.” My wife and I also marvel at the ability of a 18th-century English male to immediately put aside a lifetime of habit and prejudice and take orders from two women who just a week or so ago he would’ve referred to in polite company as “negro wenches.” It’s enjoyable goofiness, much more so than the rather stale _Avengers_ show. I don’t care about the mystery all that much, but I do like the interplay between the two leads. ---

Abby knew about the shaman because of her childhood experience in the woods, when she saw the demon. She became a magnet for kooks. Also, because she’s a detective, she’s encountered or heard about all the oddballs. ---
