Just a quick update - I don’t think this thread is zombie material yet…

Gibson.com just put this Arlen Roth slide guitar lessonon their website. It’s all about how to use both hands to block and damp strings so only the sounds you want to hear are heard. This is something I stress a lot in how I approach the guitar, so am pleased to see it as an explicit topic.

And Roth’s slide playing - of which there are ample examples during the lesson - is just stellar…
