Microsoft Powerpoint. If you don’t have MS Office, try [OpenOffice](http://www.openoffice.org) and its “Impress” program, downloadable for free. I would definitely recommend MS Office if you can swing it. OpenOffice tends not to be as user-friendly as its converts would tell you.

I second the OpenOffice Impress.

Make sure you save the slideshow in a format that you can use at school. For example, if the school computers have MS PowerPoint make sure you save your show in that format.

Edit: You can get a 60-day trial of the latest MS Office from here: [http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/default.aspx](http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/default.aspx)
