I’m 5’6", but I guess I overcompensate by prefering small boobs. Seriously, I had no idea that I was short until I was 25. I know that sounds odd, but I can pinpoint the moment. I’m at a bar with three friends who all happen to be 6’2" or higher. I look at them, and say, “What the hell? What’s up with all you tall people?”. My buddy looks at me and says, “No, dude. You’re just short.” It had never dawned on me before. ---

Any mention of boobs gets my attention, and bouncing 34D’s that crack walnuts make me jitter like a junkie that just ran out of methadone. Other than that, and a dozen or so borderline personality defects, I’m quite well adjusted. ---

Seriously, it has amazed me how American men have been sold this idea that big boobs are more desirable than any other size. I guess it appeals to the adolescent in most of us – if a little ice cream is good, then a whole bunch must be great! The result is unnaturally enhanced freaks that don’t look like anybody I’ve ever actually met. Harking back to my pre-marital days, breast size had nothing to do with how arousing they were. Any girl that let me play with 'em got whatever she wanted, and I played with all sizes. ---

[/QUOTE] I thought 5’8" or so was the average height for men in the US. So you’re not **short** -short, just a little shorter than average, while they **are** tall. My husband is 6’3" or so, and he calls almost everyone who’s shorter than him, “short” (though intending it in a good-natured way). I’m 5’9", which is fairly tall for a woman, and he calls me short too. 😛 ---

Peraps this is a hijack, but I always thought that more “gifted” women would be more likely to be cynical about men, since their “advertising” is more obvious, even if unintentional, and therefore they might have to fend of the less subtle males. If I’m wrong, please educate me. Also…Boobs akimbo! ---

She was hounded, harrassed, groped, and made utterly miserable by her “gifts”, and the way males (HS and older) treated her because of them. Like “Oh, you have enormous breasts. You must want sex with me. And if you say no, you’re just playing coy and need more convincing.” She was much happier after a reduction. I have never felt comfortable - or safe - when I have received aggressive attention from men (because of my breasts, or whatever). It feels like a threat. Of course it only takes one sexual assault (and I had that happen once also) to make any bit of attention feel like a threat. Maybe some women really enjoy it. Clearly, some women must or they wouldn’t dress all sexy, get breast implants and so on. I envy them the freedom to feel flattered and not threatened. But I’ll bet just as many women feel threatened as otherwise.
