# Small, over-bred dogs. And their idiot owners

Some comments on the OP:  
**1)Bulldogs**  
Bulldog owners I’ve met swear that their pets have the “sweetest” personalities, and the few dogs I’ve met have borne this out; however, they produce more slobber than should be allowed by law (and I speak as a former basset hound owner). Ugly snuffling things, bulldogs.

**2)Pugs:**  
My wife and I call these “shovel dogs” due to the fact that they look like they’ve been hit in the face with a shovel (ditto Boston terriers).

**3)Chihuahuas**  
Similar to above, these are in the category known as “punt dogs”, as in “if that damn anklebiter doesn’t stop yapping I’m going to punt it to Tahiti.” Ditto Pomeranians.

**4)Bichon Frises**  
No comment, except to say that the phrase “owl bait” will now stick with me for the rest of my life…

**5)Pekingese**  
I would never own one, but dammit, they make me laugh. I’m sure there’s a dog under all that hair _somewhere_…
