Is one of them covered in gravy? Does the dog have a gun? Or a machete? Or a scimitar or a club with a nail through it? ---

And if you are not inside a fight cage, but out on the real world, which I presume is of more interest to the OP, then you have a whole world of option to use against the dog. Any dog you can conceivably pick up, can be bashed against the edge of a sidewalk, a lamp post or anything else. The human can pick up stuff from the ground, remove his shirt to cover the dog’s face, etc. We didn’t survive all these years with these puny bodies for nothing. We can adapt and make the best of our environment. The dog will land a couple of good bites in the process, but I am putting my money on a well motivated human. ---
