I disagree. It doesn’t make him an anti-semite. It makes him a spineless, morally reprehensible shithead who ought to make like the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation Marketing Division when the revolution comes. There are worse things in the world than a racist, and he definitely qualifies. “Oh please Mr. Oppressive, Murderous Government, is this good? Am I licking your boots clean in the way you want sir? Does that please you? I rubbed it with the blood of the oppressed just like you wanted! Oh yes, sir, I’m so happy to please you!” Disgusting. ---

Assuming the alternatives are “Turn in people of Ethnicity X” or “be imprisoned and possibly killed for harboring Ethnicity X”, turning them in is the only way to fulfill both my obligations to the state and to myself. I get one lifetime and then I cease to exist for all of history, so it makes absolutely no sense for me to lay my life on the line for anyone or anything. ---

There are other alternatives – try to hide them where they won’t be found, hide yourself, attempt to leave the country, join the resistance, etc. You chose the worst of all options. And you have no obligations to a state that persecutes an ethnic group. ---
