Once deliberate falsehood has been shown, it’s wise to use a bit more skepticism in the future.

There are two separate “editing” allegations connected to this.

[If you ask me, it’s likely that the Fox people thought it said what they reported – these chants are frequently indistinct, and they played the actual footage on air – though I’ll grant they would probably have been more careful about confirming it if it was something that didn’t conform to their perspective on the issue.][/li][li]That Fox & Friends interspersed footage of a Sharpton rally in Washington with footage of the “Dead Cops” march in NYC, thus giving the impression that the “Dead Cops” was connected to Sharpton. We have a known lie supported by faked video. Thus, any new video needs to have its authenticity demonstrated before being accepted as meaningful evidence. So far, so one has provided a cite for such a test for the other video.
