I am looking for a smartphone app (both iOS and Android) that would allow me to send my location continuously to others. Basically letting them know real time where I am. Cost to them, which maybe dozens to perhaps hundreds, has to be zero, however I am willing to pay something for this.

Any suggestions?

You choose how long it should track you, from 5 mins to 4 hrs to the list of phone numbers (text) or emails that you input. I don’t know how many people you can send it to as we’ve only used it for a handful. If you’re moving, it overlays your track onto a map so someone can know where to intercept you.

There are kid-tracking apps that will do this. Not sure if any are truly standalone or if they are only function when purchased as a provider service.

Google used to have a great service that did this called Latitude but they got rid of it and rolled its functionality into Google Plus, which is their Facebook clone nobody uses. So one easy option would be to just friend everyone on Plus. The only thing is that I don’t think you can unilaterally share your location without seeing the other person’s location too, if that’s what you’re trying to do.
