Perfume and incense, of all kinds, give me a headache. There is one cheap perfume that I can more or less tolerate, but only because I love the particular woman who wears it, but fragrances have made me stop at the door and go elsewhere. ---

Potpourri. I hate the smell of that and now that’s it’s X-mas time it’s freaking _everywhere_! :mad: Incense. The kind stoners use to cover up their use. As a cop I can tell you you’re just tipping me off with it. And on a personal level I’d rather smell the stale stench of weed than whatever those cense are suppose to smell like. At our state fair there is a building where all the famous [cream puffs](http://wistatefair.com/fair/original-cream-puffs/) are made. I hate the smell inside that place. I think it’s the lard or oil they use for shortening. Everyone else loves it in there but it makes me want to gag. ---

Coffee, beer, and cocoanut. Salted caramel or anything that combines salt and sweet. It’s absolutely disgusting in concept, and in taste. ---

Another for coffee. I like the smell of freshly ground, but drinking the stuff? No. Piping hot dishwater, and adding things like sugar, milk/cream, caramel, mocha, etc just make it worse. I’ve never been able to abide the taste of any colas–Coke, Pepsi, RC, whatever. Bleh. ---

Another vote for shrimp. They smell like urine to me. I don’t hate lobster or crab, but think both are difficult to eat bland flavorless meh. Ham - can’t stand the taste. I did make one on Thanksgiving ---

Cilantro. I hate it. Cumin. Really, why does anyone put this in anything? Anything pickled. Anything that has been near anything pickled. Nasty, sour-tasting foul, rotting food. Yum. Ketchup. Just disgusting. My son practically bathes in it. All parents should be automatically sainted for the things we do for our children. ---

Cilantro is vile. I really think my aversion to avocado was because I only ever tasted it in guacamole with cilantro in it. I read somewhere (maybe on here) that acquired tastes are just Stockholm Syndrome for the taste buds. My only two acquired tastes are coffee and beer. I didn’t really like them at first, but their strong visceral rewards soon won me over. ---

Dr. Pepper - Astonishing that it has survived as a product. I wouldn’t feed it to my worst enemy. Although, I do have a coworker who lives on warm, flat Dr. Pepper. He’ll pour it from glass to glass until he’s gotten all of the carbonation out. Ugh. Coffee - Another vote from me. Unbelievable to me that anyone would derive any amount of pleasure from coffee. The smell is enough to drive me from the room. “Pine” scented cleaners - I’ve walked into a few homes and just stopped in the door, trying to figure out what’s wrong… It’s like being struck unexpectedly. I’ve heard that pets and pine cleaners are not a good combination - and I believe it. ---

I have a problem with anything people describe as “tart.” Apparently my sour taste buds are hypersensitive, because foods most people find pleasantly sharp taste pretty much like concentrated vinegar to me. ---

Perfume, especially stronger ones make me gag. Riding an elevator with a perfumed beautiful lady is doubleplus hurting because of the dissonance. Reminds me of the “A Clockwork Orange” movie.
