We have a winkie smiley, a smiley smiley, and a sticking out your tongue smiley. We don’t need a Thumbs Up smiley. We need one to cover another emotion, like a pukey smiley. ---

A breakdown of smiley usefulness as I see it: 🙂 - Basic, useful for softening an otherwise smarmy or annoyed sounding post. :rolleyes: - One of the best smilies ever, often doesn’t even need any text explanation. :dubious: - Star Trek uses, plus it’s usefull for when you aren’t sure of whether to use the roll eyes. 🆒 - Can be used as a thumbs up or for punctuating a bragging post. :smack: - Self explanitory, no? 😛 - Similar in use to :). Can also be a great debate taunt. :wally - Can’t use it anywhere but Pit, messes up line breaks, sentimental value to some Dopers. 😉 - Can’t even tell it’s a winking smiley ;j - Love it! Can be used in almost any situation since it doesn’t really look like a HOJM. 😃 - Similar in use to 🙂 and 😛 😕 - Self explanitory, no? :o - Not very useful. :smack: does a better job. :eek: - Useful for pointing out TMI, blatant stupidity, etc… Very useful. ☹ - Basic :mad: - Basic I vote against any puke smiley. ---
