In this [GQ thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2771449), **SmileyDeath** makes smart-ass comments toward a new poster. **Smiley** gets called upon to justify the comments. **Smiley** says he or she will resume in the pit. **Smiley** chickens out and posts to other threads. Well, **Smiley** , you’ve stuffed up before, promised to leave, then come back. What’s the story this time? ---

Maybe I read it wrong. It seems like **Smiley** made a joke that no one else got. Then folks kept asking him about it. I thought it was cute. But that’s just me. ---

You know what really annoys me? My tapioca not having enough goddamn bubbles in it(I explained it better in the mentioned thread). **Desmostylus** , this continues to be a big joke to **SmileyDeath** , so what’s the point? He chose to go all MPSIMS in a GQ thread (and took the term “straight dope” in vain, but never mind). Flung back a few smartarse comments an’ stuff. Was it _really_ worth giving it any credence with a Pit thread? You’re trying to nail air here. ---
