That’s isn’t a stupid question at all. IIRC is If I Recall Correctly. A whoosh is the sound of something very obvious going right over someone’s head – in other words (trying to find the right words here), where Poster B takes Poster A seriously when Poster A is actually being ironic. Poster B is then said to be “whooshed” after his/her reaction. I’ll look for a decent cite. I _know_ there’s one around somewhere … ---

When you have a chance, **presidebt** , have a nosey around the ATMB forum with the Search function (take it back about a year or more). I think there’ve been threads started up about messageboard terms like “whooshed”, just can’t find them right now. Oh, and my sympathies to the little one. Hope th’ kiddie gets better soon. ---
