Well what is annoying is the people who feel so smug not just that they voted, but that they voted early. "Did you vote yet? I **already** voted. Got up at five a.m. It’s like they are proving their willingness and eagerness to participate in the democratic process is amplified by this fact. ---

I think that would be cool, too, but I doubt many people don’t vote because of work. I voted on my way home, and many here voted on their way from home early in the morning. It was easier than going to the grocery store to buy eggs, lines included. And if those few people know they’re going to be stuck because of work, they can get an absentee ballot. The fact is, the vast majority of people here who don’t vote are either too lazy or too apathetic. ---

It would be like Christmas without the family togetherness, which might be a good thing. ---
