# Sneaky Pete (Amazon Exclusive)

We’ll try to make this light on spoilers, I guess, for people interested in watching the show and those who aren’t quite through it yet.
I watched the pilot on Amazon in December and wasn’t really sure I wanted to watch the rest, but I had time to kill and a desire to watch something new so I binged it all this weekend. Also, Margo Martindale.
Turns out it was a pretty good show, with a decent amount of time dedicated to classic cons, which is something that always draws me in. I think it really starts rolling hard at about the middle of the series, where it comes to a nice climax in the second-to-last episode with all of the story lines coming together. Then there’s one more loose end to tie up in the final episode and that’s pretty good too.
It almost feels like there’s too many characters but they do all get utilized in the story so that is good. (As opposed to say just some throwaway love interest for the sake of having more boobs on the screen).
Anyone else check this out?
There will definitely be more seasons.

Watched the first episode. Though I think Giovanni Ribisi is a talented actor, I wasn’t very engaged in this story. Meh.

It gets better, but it takes awhile. We have two eps left.

I am on episode 5. I felt the first 2 episodes were good, the next 2 were kind of draggy. I was hoping to see more con games, and less “oh, I left some evidence in the trunk of the car and need to spend an entire episode getting it back”.

I’m 3 episodes in and enjoying it. It’s the rare show that my wife and I both like. I’m really interested in how the family is going to bust him. Hoping we see Ethan Embry again.

I think it had a satisfying, if a bit far-fetched, ending. It also left a bit of a cliffhanger that will easily allow for another season.

My wife and I really loved it. Yeah it’s a little far fetched, but so was ‘The Sting’ with Redford and Newman; but that actually made it better.
