# sneezing

Is the way we sneeze a learned behavior? I have a similar sneeze to my dad, but is that due to biology or what?

I’d WAG it probably is. My wife sneezes more like a really loud cough, and a buddy of mine sneezes with his voice (a big, animated “Chooooo!”).

Both annoy me.

Yes, I’m sure the sneezes you hear as you grow up affect how you sneeze yourself. How else do you explain those annoying stifled sneezes that women seem to favour? For God’s sake girl, just let it out! How are you going to clean out your airways by going “hu… pf”?
