I say let Kenan do it. Not with a wig or any attempt at impression. Just Kenan in a suit. Never mention it in a sketch. No, “…nice tan, Mr. President.” Never address any public outcry. Just Kenan. He’s Trump now. I think it’d be wonderfully passive aggressive. ---

Live from Toronto…it’s Saturday night live!It’s hard to keep track of the left wingers who said they would (or go to Jupiter as Cher promised). Of course Baldwin is the one who during the Clinton impeachment hearings said Congressman Henry Hyde and his family should be murdered. So the network The gives us Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddox will be happy to give scum like him a job. ---

Baldwin has said he wants to take a break after the election and spend time with his family. And he’ll want to resume his movie career. The easiest thing to do would be to have Darrell Hammond play Trump, as he has before, and he is readily available as the show’s announcer. ---

I remember hearing him talk about it–maybe on his podcast? IIRC - Fox News and other cable shows would invite him on to be the “Liberal voice” and he’d say “Only if you admit I never actually said that Canada thing” and the reply would be “You know we can’t do that.” I think Baldwin would be down to do an occasional appearance–like Fey with Sarah Palin. ---

The excuse that seems to be most face-saving now is that they’ve decided it’s more ‘important’ to stay here and fight. I imagine they came to be of this belief after having had their opinions count so highly in the election itself. ---

Sure, that seems to take care of Baldwin. Now, how about Miley (“I don’t say things I don’t mean”) Cyrus, Chelsea Handler, Lena Dunham, Cher and all the other nitwits currently who have such an inflated idea of their own importance that they think they can influence votes by threatening to move away, and who, upon finding out that people don’t put that much stock in what they have to say anyway, suddenly (and paradoxically, given that their opinions didn’t count for much anyway) decide it’s more “important” for them to stay and fight.
