No, they are allowed to be racist when they are playing a racist character. Especially when that character is a real person and has actually said those exact words. He doesn’t even [try to deny it](http://www.rawstory.com/2014/06/ben-carson-when-i-said-obamacare-was-worse-than-slavery-i-should-have-said-worse-than-911/).
