I’ve always been confused by this. I’ve never seen the Office episode, but apparently, Creed mentions to Jim he lives near a quarry and he should come over to throw stuff in there. I don’t get why this is funny… maybe context? I would assume that you’d use this line when someone says something pointless or has a stupid argument. That’s usually when **Bo** uses it, right? ---

I generally enjoy **Bo** ’s posts, but yeah that quarry thing is just jarring, and takes me right out of whatever he’s trying to say. Every time this comes up I find myself baffled that so many people find this worth anything more than a roll of the eyes or a murmured, “There goes that silly Snowboarder Bo again.” It may be dumb but are there really this many people on the board who have so much time on their hands they can get worked up about this? Get over it for crying out loud. ---

One of the other times we complained about this, a number of posters chalked it up to his being a student. The poster thought high school, others said maybe college. But come to think of it, I’m pretty sure they were assuming, because of the “do a meme to death” thing.
