I DID!! šŸ˜ƒšŸ†’ Join me in celebration. Today I went in front of the promotion board, and I was recommended for promotion. That is outstanding. It should take effect either July 1st, or August 1st (I forget how it works) Iā€™m pretty happy about that. Itā€™s about a $300 per month raise as well. Plus Iā€™m going on vacation for the next three weeks starting tomorrow night! This is going to be a _good_ month for me!! ---

Congrats šŸ˜ƒ I just found out that Iā€™ll get a 50 cent an hour raise this summer over what I got last summer. Didnā€™t seem like a lot until I realized that 50 cents times 8 hours = 4 dollars. Enough for an extra latte (or two) a day! ---

Iā€™m due. Our company has a process that lasts about 4 months from start to ā€œcha-chingā€. We have over 90,000 employees, so itā€™s a major song and dance. Iā€™ve gotten lots of ā€˜atta girlsā€™ and I feel like Iā€™m doing well. Past years were worth $2500 to $3000. Hopefully the contract will allow for something similar. ---

Yesterday, I finally got my yearly raise from the evaluation that began last October. A 5% increase, not too bad when the scale for ā€œyou deserve a raiseā€ is defined as being between two to seven percent, dependent on other employeesā€™ relative performance and budget. ---

Yes. In February, went from supervisory associate to assistant department manager. About $400 extra a month plus ~$1500 bonus (instead of $300) every 13 weeks. Also? Very tired. ---

Congratulations to all of you who got raises, that is heartwarming news! I didnā€™t get either, but my son just got an interview for a big promotion. Iā€™m keeping my fingers crossed for him. ---

I got a 3-percent raise about four months ago. Along with the worst review of my career. Go figure. Now Iā€™m in a new role (same company), and have a much better manager, so Iā€™m happy. ---

Well, I ā€œnotā€ got a raiseā€¦ I got promoted to Saucier a few months back, but I was already making more money then the position paid. So I accepted a 50 cent increase at that time in exchange for not getting the 50 cent increase after the 90 probationary period (which is standard for all positions in the hotel). But, since I hate the job now, I have decided to milk it for as much overtime as I can get till school starts in the fall, then quit! So, thats like a raise to me! Yay me! ---

Iā€™m due a 4% auto-raise in July. Iā€™ve been contacted out of the blue recently for a job with another company. That could net me about 20-30K raise, if Iā€™m offered the job and decide to take it. ---

We have finally signed a 2003-2004 contract. Which means we got five years of back-dated pay increases in April. ---

Yay you all! I recently resigned my job and while working out my contract have been going to a lot of interviews. I have found out my market worth is waaaaayyy more that Iā€™m currently getting paid. In the next month I expect to get between a $20- 30,000 payrise p/a. Yay! ---

Iā€™m in a pretty sweet situation. Every time I get 12 more credits, I get an extra buck an hour. I only get 1 more, but then Iā€™m DONE with school! I just got (officially, Iā€™ve been doing it unofficially for almost a year previous) promoted to Director of Information Systems at my company, with a nice $6k p/a raise and a $3k bonus on the year. And it looks likely that I can look forward to that every year for a few more (itā€™s a small company, theyā€™re bootstrapping me gradually to the market rate for the job).
