A scam is not a joke. The scam is simple - tell a hundred people a tall tale and 10 will believe you implicitly. One of those 10 will want to invest, but be too far away to see for himself, and will rely on testimonials and press clippings, which can be created with a desktop computer. I have a legitimate product that I show at various state fairs, etc. and there is always a scam artist within a few booths of mine trying to raise money with a strange invention that just needs tweaking to make some sucker rich. They will often have the cover of a “foundation” that has themselves as a paid employee. ---

I’ve seen enough interviews with this guy to know that he isn’t a scam artist. Unfortunetly, he is nuttier than a Stucky’s log. Between this, the fire paste and the bear suit, I have no choice but to conclude his is boarderline certifiable. Still doesn’t stop me from rooting for him. I would love to see him invent something that actually works, and is useful So to Troy I say, “Shine on you crazy diamond, shine on” ---

:dubious: It might _just_, maybe, have been believable as a see-through ray. But then he had to get greedy and claim it’s a magical mechanical kill-o-ray too. Sounds like a scam to me. Lots of claims, plenty reckless loose talk about top-secret security interest and mystery high-placed contacts. But zero actual demonstrations. Expect the ‘it was so good “they” supressed it’ story any time soon. ---
