# So, are ITRC's suggestions well-advised?

I don’t agree. I think this is payment to the business interests. They want to disempower unions (which is pretty much a done deal at this point) in order to keep labor costs down. Notice that most anti-union efforts are directed against unions in private industries; there’s relatively little effort to shut down public sector unions.
