My husband rocks bow ties. If they’re not in style they should be. ---

**DrFidelus** , you totally rock those bow ties. Love them. Consider yourself growled at. You know, I hear men complain about how limited their fashion choices are, but when you offer this crowd a choice, all you hear is whinging about how men shouldn’t do that. Hey, I like bowties. They can be avuncular, academic, whimsical, or downright sexy (usually untied at the end of a long night). I love the idea of straightening a man’s bowtie and then giving him a peck. I prefer them to bolo ties by a wide margin. They do, however, need to be proper bowties, not clip-ons or cheap scraps of fabric. My only caveat is that you need to be aware of your total look. It’s probably impossible to pull off a bowtie wearing casual business clothes. Don’t get me wrong. He’s not unattractive. But the bow time makes him look like saying “Oooh, look at me. Aren’t I so extra daring with this adorable little fabric tied around my neck. Especially when I wrinkle my forehead like I’m thinking hard like a smart fella!” He’d look inifinitely better with no tie at all. ---
