Well, Nym threatened me with incessant whining should I fail to attend this one, but… I’m sorry. They Might Be Giants are playing in St. Louis that night, and goodly people that you are, I cannot miss the Two Johns if it is at all within my power to do so. And although it goes against the intent of the quiet 'Fest, are there any plans to be shitfaced and obnoxious the night before? Cause I could probably make that-I will probably have to drive up there anyway, as one of my likely concertmates is a (non-Doper) Chicago friend. ---

I get back from Germany October 12th so depending on how I am feeling (7 days of German food, German cars and German beer …), I will be there! I will probably bring a Thai curry and spring roll fixin’s. Maybe Vietnamese springrolls…hmmm. ---

Depending on when a friend is coming in from the west cost, I could be there…assuming it’s open to others not from the Chicago area??? It would be my first Doper party! I promise not to wear my green and gold number 4 football jersey. Ummm, let’s see…I could bring…cheese??? A cheese plate and crackers! Maybe some zucchini bread if I can find some zuchini’s still. A couch or carpeted floor may be desired, but if not I can make it home after a “quiet” night, though from the sounds of it even a “quiet” night doesn’t sound too tame. ---
