# So can Ashcroft just suspend Habeus Corpus?

You and I both know we were voting for Jean when we voted for Mel, but I really liked how Robin Williams put it. I’d have voted for Mel even if I knew they were going to give the position to Andrew Dice Clay - at that point I was voting _against_ Ashcroft.
