# So, do I have testicular cancer or what? (clearly TMI)

Okay, okay, I’m going in an hour or two. I expect only an embarrassing exam, which is at least better than an embarrassing exam plus cancer.

Good news is: I don’t have cancer. In fact, the doctor took a couple pokes at my nervousness-contracted junk and all but laughed at me. Seems I probably got a nasty bug-bite on the nads. I really wish I could’ve gotten a couple pictures to confirm that it was, as I thought, more superficial than testicular cancer is supposed to be. Oh well, peace of mind and a week of cream for my package is worth $35.

The bad news is: I have lost 15-20 pounds in six months without trying, and I was never fat in the least.

Hey, it’s never embarrassing to go to a doctor to verify that something isn’t something nasty. Good news is good news, no matter how trivial it may seem compared to everything bad you’d imagined it could be!!
