Another force user here. It’s very frustrating.
Although I’ve memorized the timing on automatic sliding doors and get at least some satisfaction with a wave of my hand.

I’ve tried to teleport a couple of times. No dice–not even a ‘bamf’ sound. I am very, very disappointed. Let down. Blue, even! ☹

Ha!, puny humans, I have the most terryfiying super power, super heroes flee away from me like rats from the Titanic.
I can dispel superpowers, nobody has ever been able to use their superpowers when I´m around, so fear, run!!! BOO!!! 😛

My old buddy used to work at a theatre. Customers would stare at the board, pondering the size of their popcorn and drink. “You don’t want a small soda”.
“You don’t want a little popcorn…”

When I was in my teens, I was walking home one evening with a friend, down a sidewalk that occasionally passed between hedges. And The Amazing Spider-Man comics were first coming out, and we were both fans. So as we’re walking along, he does the “throwing the goat” gesture that Spidey uses to shoot webbing – and we walk directly into a spiderweb between two hedges! 😃

I’ve perfected the art of crushing people’s heads from across the street. It’s very satisfying.
Also, I am very relieved to learn that I’m not the only one who tries to use the Force instead of walking across a room for something. I’ll reach out and wiggle my fingers a bit, like when Luke’s upside down in that snow cave, trying to get the lightsaber… people feel sorry for the crazy lady and usually just hand me what I’m reaching for.

Count me in as another… I did it automatically when I read this post, and thought “yeah, it _is_ like heavy rain. Cool.” Or a storm, as others have mentioned… like heavy, heavy wind blowing around in there, my own personal hurricane. My ears feel like they want to pop, but I can’t quite make them, or I’m subconsciously holding them back from doing so… because when my ears pop, they usually hurt. ☹

That’s because you’re trying to teleport **yourself**. It can’t be done.
What you need to do is to learn to teleport the _rest of the Universe_, relative to yourself. It accomplishes the same end – you appear to have moved instantaneously.

I frequently try to levitate, working from how it feels to fly in dreams. I figure if I can just get an inch or two off the ground, I can lean forward and start zooming around like Superman. No luck so far.
My second choice for a superpower is to climb walls like Spiderman or Nightcrawler. Every once in a while I put my hand against a wall to see if it’ll stick. Again, no luck so far. But you never know…

So, you have the power to turn blue? Great! You can become a professional Smurf model or join Blue Man Group and save a ton on makeup.

I try the force to close doors and get soda. I also try telepathy with the pets to reach the same end: “Lucy, Lucy…bring mom her cell phone…” Doesn’t work. But sometimes Man Bird will get the stuff for me instead, so maybe my brain waves are just misdirected. Also, when I’m driving, when someone cuts me off or is driving like a jerk I try to take over their brain and make them feel bad for doing so. It could work for all I know.

wow…so interesting to see im not the only knuckle in the world who has tried using the Force to move stuff! I still try from time to time, I am sure there is a way to do it I just dont know it…yet…
Anyone think it strange that a board of “intellectual” types all dream of having super powers? You think that means anything??
