If the relaxing vacation idea doesn’t work, maybe you could try some ultra aggressive moshing, or buying a piece of crap tv at a flea market and beating the tar out of it. I think the relaxing would be a better option, but I do know people who just need to beat on something, too. Either way, hope you get back to your center. ---

I hear you on that one Veb. I always say Im going to write a book called The First Ten Years… I know I seem like I have a boring life, but the past few years have been hell in a lot of different ways. But as Ayesha said, you are human and sometimes I have to smack myself and say it over and over. Everything happens for a reason and it makes us better as a person overall. I think we need one hell of a good girls nite out!!! ---

Thanks much guys. Your wise and humane words came right when I needed them most. (And a _smilie_ from Chief Scott! ::sniffles:🙂 I woke up at 4 a.m. and read your replies. Still sicker than a dog, but bolstered by your common sense, I called in, said the hell with it and went back to bed. Sure 'nuff, the phone kept ringing, but I managed to resolve the crises du jour over the phone. Honestly, I was panicked and guilty for being sick. (A _board member_ showed up on my back porch last night–in pouring rain–summoned by a staff member in a panic. There I was, hair pulled up in a scrunchy, clad in an oversize T-shirt, gagging. Not the easiest professional look to pull off.) Anyway, I got the problems resolved by phone, got some rest and got the various upset parties calmed down. Maybe it was a good reality check for everyone–me most of all. Maybe in the next lifetime I’ll be WonderWoman, but for now all parties are just gonna have to be adults and muddle through. I think some useful lines got drawn about micromanaging and employment protocols. I poured my heart and soul into this job, because the job needed it, and _I_ needed it during a really rough time. But it’s way past due to pull back from the 110% bit. Anyway, I’m feeling better. Just too many things landed at once. I can’t thank you enough for hanging in there. The pebble hit but you gave me the perspective and encouragment to stave off the brick. You guys rock. Grateful thanks from, Veb ---
