Well, I don’t think friends get together \*\*\*to \*\*\*cuddle, they just sort of do, sometimes. Which is as it should be, because I’m pretty sure cuddling is supposed to be spontaneous. ---

It’s not like, “Okay, show up at 8, we’ll have snacks, then snuggling starts at quarter past.” It’s more like people are hanging out, and you put your head in someone’s lap or they start playing with your hair or stroking you. ---

Maybe that’s ok for chicks, but guys don’t put their heads in each other’s laps or stroke each other’s hair. Fuck that. ---

I’ve never known a straight guy in my life who would put his head in another guy’s lap or stroke his hair. Have things really changed that much? ---

I’ve never been to a cuddle party. I, however, once did hug a random stranger at a con. He was a cosplayer dressed as a character I like, and after I took his picture, I asked his permission before I glomped (ran up and hugged) him. He was so cute, but too young for me, so I settled for a hug and that was the end of it. That was the only time I’ve ever done such a thing. ---
