By my count there were sixteen people in this thread who said that they were probably not or definitely not renewing their membership and only one followed through. Every year it’s the same thing. ---

I considered not doing so because intellectually I know I would accomplish more if I didn’t have the SDMB as a major distraction. OTOH I knew that I would still lurk, and that if I lurked then sooner or later I’d HAVE to post, and then I’d have to create a free account and keep doing so, blah blah, so I did. As a charter member it’s cheaper than 2 movie rentals and I’ll definitely get a lot more pleasure, laughs and education over the next year from this than I would from renting _Ice Age 2_ and _Zoolander_, so I ultimately reupped. ---
