If I saw a picture of Slick Willie snorting coke off an 11-year-old Thai girl’s dirty ass with Hillary laughing in the background, I wouldn’t be surprised. What does the Obama Transition Team think they’re going to find here? ---

I’d say we’ve had nothing but rumors and “leaks” by people who we’re _told_ are from the (pick one) Obama/Clinton camp, but nothing official from Obama himself, and so I’m taking everything with a grain of popcorn salt until we get an official announcement. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to find out, once the tight-lipped Obama camp decides to go on record, that Hillary was never even considered and they probably all had a big laugh at this rumor-mongering and hand-wringing. Ed Meese was a dick but he did say something very true once. When it comes to presidential transitions/appointments, “The people who know aren’t talking, and the people talking don’t know.” ---

One thing Obama said is that he wanted to emulate Lincoln and hire people to work with him who were formerly foes. It worked great for Lincoln, we’ll see if it works for Obama. I can understand a position for Hill-Dog, but what about McCain? He met with him yesterday. ---

Obama’s team seems keen to know in advance of any entanglements or indiscretions or ethical failures of his appointees. In this case, Bill Clinton’s business dealings since his presidency may compromise Hillary’s neutrality on foreign [del]affairs[/del] policy. ---

She’s being vetted so she WON’T get the job is my guess. If the Obama team is compiled of former Clinton WH staffers, they already know what they’re going to find. I suspect they’re going through necessary political motions before picking someone else entirely. I will be completely gobsmacked if she’s actually chosen with Willie still in her life. She gives him his walkin papers and she MAY have a chance. I wonder though, how many SoS’s have gone on to be president? ---
