Bedtime is about the only time I have to read as well. That, and while using the toilet . My post was in response to the people who pass judgement based on the number of books others read. The people who brag that they will sit down and read an entire book in 8 - 12 hours or a stack of books each week, while looking down their noses and calling others “not as well read or experienced”. If you are spending all your spare time with your nose in a book instead of experiencing things IRL, you really shouldn’t pass judgement on others.
The snobbery continues - most of my books nowadays are “read” in the car on tape. Some people don’t count that as reading.
 Blasphmer!!! – Heretic!!!
Personally, I’m anxiously awaiting the new season of Nanny 911.
I’m just saying that if traveling around the world and meeting new people and going to social events and spending your time with family and friends was a guaranteed path to a better life then Paris Hilton would be one of the wisest people of our time.
I guess the secret isn’t what your experiences are or where they come from; it’s whether or not you learn anything from them.
Now you’re on to something.
Read her book and find out I guess.
