Well, for those who were curious about [whether or not I ever got my package](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=498272) I did indeed finally manage to get it. I had to walk through about 18 blocks of a scary neighborhood in the Bronx and then hail a cab home but I did get it. Inside was a check for $50 and about 6 different kinds of cookies my grandma baked for me. Luckily it had been an extremely cold couple of weeks so the cookies had stayed pretty much frozen in the warehouse and they were still pretty tasty. I’m still ticked off at FedEx though! ---

Hey **Flyboy** , Still looking into all of the branches, but if I do choose one of them I think it will definitely be the air force. I’m still weighing the options and seeing if the pros and cons are worth it. I’m still a bit indecisive. 😛 At the least, I’ve been taking up exercising so if I do decide to go through I can pass that running test (I’ve always been a terrible runner.) When I do make a decision, I’ll definitely let the board know! 🙂 ---
