I hope not, Flagg just gets resurrected over and over again and never goes away forever.

The first thing I read wasn’t fiction- in the 7th grade I think, I picked up my mom’s copy of a book about the Black Death, because, yanno, both of us were fun like that I guess. It was more of a texto-tainment kind of thing, sticking to the scholarly historical record and documenting the complete devastation of Europe, the collapse of institutions, the descent into hedonism, and the futility of any approach at all because of the ultimate sovereignty of Death.
Fiction-wise, Masque of the Red Death was probably noted 8th grade. Because I stayed a fun kid.
Read The Stand my HS graduation year, shared it with my friends. That’s just how we partied back then.
Were you also a big Cure fan? ![]()
Lol no, I was a Led Zeppelin guy.
In Spain the police are using drones with megaphones to tell people to stay home.
And don’t forget Executive Order, with it’s plague manufactured by terrorists, spread in the US.
I read a lot of Robin Cook and Stephen King in the mid 80s, probably everything they had written by then. I stopped before 1990 and have only seen some tv series and movies based on Stephen King books since then. Not sure I want to read either author at the moment. Just keeping up with the Coronavirus threads is a full time job.
