# So, how does one pronounce Gaudere anyway?

Due to the importance of this extremely great moderator, I feel the necessity to say her name correctly. My guess is “Go-deer,” but I’m pretty sure that idea was squashed in another thread. And no, I have no idea what the thread is. Sorry, Arnold.

So how do we pronounce **Gaudere?**

But seriously, if you want to learn the dark secrets of how Gaudere’s name is pronounced, read [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=71365) thread, wherein the mystery is solved (by **iampunha** , IIRC)!
