( **Maeglin** , **FunkDaddy** … I mean DOCTOR FunkDaddy, **lno** , **elenfair** … **zyzzyva** doesn’t count because I knew him from before.) I have a picture of 14 year old **Mercutio** picking me up like a sack of potatoes. I think **Nen** was probably the last Doper I’ve seen, and that was a couple years ago now. I was going to try to meet up with some Toronto Dopers when I was living in Guelph, but I never got a chance to before I left. ---

I think I’m in the neighborhood of a hundred too. I’ve been to several pretty big Dopefests in Chicago, one in Minneapolis, one in Springfield, and met a few here in Madison (thinking of you, Cat Whisperer and Dread Pirate Jimbo). Plus a friend who introduced me to the Dope but has since stopped posting here. ---

Many many dozen, as in “Hi, (read nametag) I’m UncleBill!” = met. 40 or so I could (and have) pick out of a lineup. “Normal” Dopefests in Tampa, Red Top Mountain in GA (Hi, Nawth Chucka!) Baltimore, Philly, and a few Mega DopeFests in New York (twice), Spiffled II, Redondo Beach, CA (DopeToberFest), ChiDope. I, too, married one, and had five others at our wedding. Attended a wedding of one in Columbus, OH with maybe a dozen Dopers there. ---

Probably a dozen when I once attended a Dopefest 4 1/2 years ago at the home of **WeirdDave** and **Ginger of the North** , who unfortunately don’t participate here any longer (but were great hosts!) I believe **Scuba Ben** was there and some others whose names escape me for the moment. I’m game to meet a few more these days. ---

A hundred? More? I used to host DopeFests and such at my place in the country outside of Washington DC. MADs Represent! It stands - stood? - for Mid-Atlantic Dopers. In addition I held one in southeast Ohio and I hosted a bunch - while I was fighting cancer - for the eclipse last year. Hell, I just realized that at least three of them are dead, now. I’m having an election day party. Who wants to come to that? ---

I was introduced to the board IRL by a Doper, and then much later I introduced a different person to it. Other than that, none that I know of. ---
