Have the great Cecil ever replied to one of your threads ? Are you one of the few lucky , blessed people who were actually welcomed to the board by Unca Cece ?Do you think we could convince him to welcome me ? I guess not , but if he did it would be " A halloween Miracle" . If you were spoken to by the great one this is your place to support me in my hopes to join you in the " light " . If you havent been blessed yet, this is your place to join me in hoping to be let in to the small select group of people that Cecil Adams has replied to. P.S. Well, there was this one time where someone started a thread (I donā€™t wanna tax the hamsters), basically asking Cecil to post. One poster got really into this, shamelessly begging the Master to greet him by name. This went on for days and days. Finally, the Master did grace the thread with his electron prescence and lo, he did greet this poster. The lucky posterā€™s name? **hoo-ha**. šŸ˜‰ Me, heā€™s never responded in any of my threads, at least not after Iā€™ve posted in it. ---

There was a great thread in CCC in which Scylla challenged Cecilā€™s column about flea circuses and Cecil came in to defend it. It was quite a dust-up, but I canā€™t seem to find it on search. It may have been lost in the Crash. ---

Cecil responded to my very first post. It was a response to the column about the origin of the word ā€œAbracadabra.ā€ He basically said that the theory I wrote was possible, but he didnā€™t have time/space to list every possibility. ---
