As [CNN has reported](http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/TV/02/03/television.dawson.reut/index.html) , **Dawson’s Creek** has been canceled and the last episode (a two hour finale) will air on May 14th. So how will the writers end the show? And will they wrap up some, most, or all of the hanging plot lines? [ul] [li]Will Dawson and Joey end up together? Their story has been the centerpiece of the show since it started.[/li][li]What direction will Pacey take? Will _he_ end up back with Joey?[/li][li]Will we ever see Andie McPhee again, maybe in a brief guest appearance?[/li][li]What will become of Jen and Jack, the two most conflicted characters. Will Jen finally find true love? Will Jack finally show us full frontal nudity on network TV? (nod to **Esprix** ) :)[/li][li]Will Dawson get another directing job? Maybe working with Todd again?[/li][li]Will the writers do anything devious like killing off a major character near the end? Or would that preclude the inevitable Made-For-TV “Very Special Move Of The Week”?[/li][/ul] Any speculations out there? My guess is that the ending will be sickly sweet, sappy, and will leave enough questions unanswered so that the above mentioned TV Movie can be made in a year or two. MH the closet DC fan ---

Well, they \* should\* end it with Joey living with Dawson and Pacey in a happy horny threesome, but you know that’s not going to happen. For some reason women never get to have harems on the WB. I’m picturing it ending with Joey and Dawson finally getting together, perhaps even marrying so there is no more question of them being together or not (at least not until they get divorced in three years). WAG? Dawson will be shipped overseas to direct a picture that’ll take a long while- perhaps collaborating with Spielburg- and ask her to go with him. People are _always_ asking Joey to go places 🙂 She’ll hem and haw, and almost say no until he proposes. She’ll accept, deciding that Dawson is more important to her than worthington. Jen will finally meet a guy who is both nice and straight, and Grams will even like the guy. They may fix her hair. (Does her stylist hate her or something? between this cut and season two’s…) I’d like the guy to be Ryan Reynolds or that guy from The Recruit, but as I’m not in charge of casting, we’ll have to hope they find someone attractive. It may be crisis center guy, but I doubt it. Andie will never ever be seen again, and there will never be any mention of their father (I found it interesting that after the man’s death they didn’t even make up an excuse as to why the character didn’t attend their graduation.) Someone might mention hearing about something she’s doing, though. Pacey will leave his stock-brokering position, after having it out with his boss and return to cooking. Perhaps he’ll return to Capeside and become partners with Gale in her restaurant. Maybe he’ll bring the British chick from the bar/band home with him. Jack will…god, what have they been doing with his character the last two seasons? I’d like to see more of him and Jen in these last ten episodes. He’ll continue to be gay (and hopefully meet a nice guy) and not fail out of college. Oh, wait, I know! Dougie will confess in the last episode that Pacey has been right all along, and hit on Jack 🙂 If anyone dies, my money is on Audrey or Todd. They’re the biggest screw ups, and I see another Abby-like death in the future. One of them will probably get alcohol poisoning or drive into something harder than the Leery’s house. I’m going to be sad to see this one ending, since it’s been a favorite for a very long time(I’m a geek, see sig). On the bright side, season one comes out on DVD April 1st. ---

It was all a dream? **photopat** , (Blake’s 7 spoiler) Ah yes, the Blake’s 7 ending. The characters get shot one by one. at the end, only one left who is surrounded by MANY enemies with guns. Fade out to the sound of gunfire. Guessing it won’t happen tho. Brian who has never seen the show in question ---

What might happen: Joey gets pregnant by that schlub fake-college student run-away writer guy, is his name Eddie? Eddie goes to Hollywood, manages to sell his “Worcester Stories” crap script to a studio that somehow gets Dawson to direct it, being impressed by his reshoots of that horror movie he’s working on. Dawson decides to shoot some of it in his hometown, where he finds Joey working at the B&B with her sister, because Joey didn’t want to go to college pregnant. She never told Eddie he was the father. Dawson has the chance to put the moves on her, but then gets all sentimental, and somehow hires Eddie as a script consultant and somehow gets Eddie and Joey in the same room together and she spills the beans and he proposes and she accepts. Whew. Pacey and Dawson, both kind of pissed that neither one of them “ended up with Joey” and at the same time both relieved that they didn’t get anyone pregnant, become friends again. Somehow Pacey gets a crapload of money, and when Dawson goes overbudget, Pacey saves the day. They hug, and hit each other on the back. Final shot: Premiere of Dawson’s film. Before the opening credits, there’s something tacky along the lines of “To my best friend, who never stopped believing in me, and without whom this film would not be possible.” Video montage of the entire Joey-Pacey-Dawson timeline plays, and we get fade-ins and fade-outs as we see Dawson in the back of the theater watching the audience watch the film. He cries a single tear, and they start playing a cover of the theme song, played by Dave Matthews Band. What’ll probably happen: Gramms dies. Everyone meets up at the funeral. Joey ends up with Pacey. Dawson ends up with Jen. Jack ends up alone. ---

Haunted by his stupid name and the fact that he will always be a loser, he kills everybody in Capeside and burns down the town. The final scene will be of him walking down the highway with the heads of his co-stars strung up on a rope (from his boat, which he also torched) dragging on the ground behind him. I was thinking of the Simpson’s episode where Bart and Lisa found the “Casablanca, Alternate Ending” footage and the old guy who used to be a studio executive asked them to bury it again along with the “It’s a Wonderful Life, Killing Spree Ending” footage. But now I want ot see Blake’s 7. ---

dawson and pacey get drafted, die horribly in battle. or a bosting accident, whatever. joey, jen and jack realise there is more to life than introspection and being good and run off to amsterdam to open a brothel/coffeshop combo. final shot sees jen and joey getting it on while jack tokes on a huge joint in the background. what? you say it sounds unlikely? not in MY universe bucko. ---

(well, it was Eve, not Joey, and no one died, but whatever). They’d need something bigger than a speed boat this time, so it’s more than just a boat and a dock that are damaged. Perhaps he’s directing the sequel to the Titanic?
