Which was a decade in the making. It started out as just this little vignette which I then stuck in a drawer for ten years, not thinking it would go anywhere. I pulled it out about six months ago and started working on it again in my copious (ha!) free time. [Turns out it did have somewhere to go.](http://www.pomoconsumption.com/2013/05/descent-macabre/) Ebook release for now, paperback and audiobook are in the works. Er…how grisly is the horror? I mean, I’m a terrible horror wimp – I can’t read Stephen King – will I get squicked out? (I read **Infovore** ’s book, but it was kind of “adventure horror” and not “horror horror” if that makes sense.) Congratulations, for sure! A grand accomplishment in any genre. ---

The horror is mostly psychological. There’s not a lot of explicit gore (though there is some), but it’s more emotionally traumatic than physically traumatic. The major conflicts are relational and internal. No one gets disemboweled. 🙂 It is very dark, but it’s not that bloody. Hope that helps? ---
